Discover the joy of yoga with Shanti Parakh as he helps you find your potential for achieving balance and harmony in your everyday life. Although this course is geared mainly towards students who have had little or no yoga before, more experienced practitioners will also benefit from the many asanas (postures) that Shanti will introduce you to.

 

This 8-week course will cover yoga asanas for posture correction, pranayama (breath awareness), yoga nidra (deep relaxation to reduce stress), cleansing techniques, and an understanding of diet and nutrition-related principles. Small class sizes allow for the instructor’s individual guidance and direction to achieve greater proficiency in a gentle and encouraging environment.

Course Number: YOGA Winter 2009-1

Duration: An hour each week for 8 weeks on Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, starting Thursday, January 22, 2009.

Fee: CAD$70 for the full program.

The class will be held at the Shiv Mandir, 5284 Second Avenue, Niagara Falls, ON L2E 4K2.

Step 3: We will contact you shortly to confirm your enrolment status using the contact information you provided. Please note that class sizes may be limited and enrolment is on a first-come, first-served basis. In case we are unable to accommodate you in the program of your choice, we will either issue you with a credit towards another program or refund you your money at your option.
