Step 2: You will then be automatically redirected to our Registration page Complete the registration process by filling in and submitting the Registration form. You will need to provide your Receipt ID number here.

Step 3: We will contact you shortly to confirm your enrolment status using the contact information you provided. Please note that class sizes may be limited and enrolment is on a first-come, first-served basis. In case we are unable to accommodate you in the program of your choice, we will either issue you with a credit towards another program or refund you your money at your option.

This course introduces mature learners to the basics of conversational Hindi. Under the guidance of Instructor Vinay Mehrotra, students will enjoy acquiring basic skills in speaking and comprehending everyday Hindi so as to be able to function at a minimal level (at least) in a Hindi-speaking environment.

Course: Introductory Hindi, Level 1 for Mature Learners

Course Number: HIND Fall 2008-INTRO-1M

Duration: One 13-week term starting on Monday, November 3, 2008. Classes will be held for an hour each week from 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM. No classes will be held in weeks with Canadian and/or Hindu/Jain holidays.

Fee: CAD$125 for the full course.

Note: The course will be offered if there are at least 3 registrants.

This course is for mature learners have either completed Introductory Hindi Level 1 or who already possess basic skills in conversational Hindi. The course aims to impart students with higher level (albeit introductory) skills in speaking and comprehending everyday Hindi. Students will also learn basic skills in reading and writing Hindi. The objective of the course is to enable students to function at a higher-than-minimal level in a Hindi-speaking environment. Students’ Hindi skills will be assessed at the start of the course to ensure their placement at the appropriate level.
